The advancement of digital technology and the use of e-wallets among Generation Z university students have led to increased consumptive behavior in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the influence of e-wallet usage, financial literacy, and lifestyle on consumptive behavior mediated by self-control among Generation Z students in Medan. A quantitative approach with an associative method was employed, utilizing questionnaires distributed to 160 student respondents from various universities in Medan. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software to examine the relationships between the research variables. The results indicate that e-wallet usage, lifestyle, and self-control significantly influence consumptive behavior, whereas financial literacy does not have a significant effect on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z students in Medan. The study's implications are expected to raise student awareness regarding wise financial management and strengthen self-control in the face of evolving digital transactions in the modern era.
